With more than 220 new homes completed by the end of 2007, the Partners for Homeownership will have:
· Created an estimated $29 million in public and private investment in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County based on an original investment of $5 million between 1997 and 2005, with a total investment value of $34 million.
· Helped generate millions of dollars in the sale of construction supplies and construction related employment.
· Made a significant increase to the city and county tax rolls. In 2006 Partners for Homeownership developments generated more than $160,000 in tax revenues.
